I saw a commercial the other day for this program called wife swap. Never watch the show except this wife had me wondering…she said she manifested everything in her life from her house to her husband, her job, she is actually an inventor, to her children including the colour of their eyes and hair. She had dream boards up all over the place and was adamant that this is how she directed her life to be.
You would start laughing about right now but the reality was she lived in the house of her dreams, had the husband of her dreams and the children she said she manifested into her life. Okay, so it’s TV and could all a bunch of you know what but it did get me to thinking.
The other wife was poorly educated, over weight and had convinced herself and her family that money wasn’t a requirement of happiness and they were happy living in squalor in the trailer park, that the other family only cared about money and they couldn’t possibly be happy. One family very successful, the other not so much but both proclaiming to be happy and not wanting to change. The lower income family actually eating an unhealthy diet and not working proclaiming that was all they could afford and couldn’t get a job. That was their reality. I watched part of the show and here it where it led me to. Do we accept where we are and who we are even though we really are not where we want to be? Do we believe or decide to believe about how happy we are and how we would be so unhappy if we had money when the reality is that we just don’t feel like we can attain it? It’s not our reality.
Is manifesting (look under the personal development product area) just a joke on the world or is it that if we believe in something enough, that we have absolutely no doubts about it…the fairy god mother, the saints that keep us safe, the universe, our faith and that is actually the reality and it simply doesn’t matter what other people believe.
I have seen miracles first hand, people said they weren’t that it was just the way it was, it was something else, there had to be a logical reason. Did there have to be? Is there always? I have seen my car heading for the ditch and without any help from me, find its way safely back on the road. St. Christopher watching over me and I believe he protects me without a doubt. I believe in God and angels and give thanks every time I know they have had a hand in my deliverance and my success. I also believe that I can do anything I set my sights on and if I do not achieve, it is only from the lack of belief or not really having the desire. I personally live a life of contradictions so is it any wonder that not all things are achieved? Absolutely not but when I decide on something, it gets done. I do achieve. I am laser focused on the result and all other things simply and naturally get in line, taking their place and waiting their turn. Manifesting or logic order?
So can we believe enough to manifest things in our lives? Will they actually take shape if we absolutely believe in them?
I may believe, you may not, you may think it is a bunch of bunk. You may think that without hard work and sacrifice, it simply will not happen but is that true or is it just a belief I have that differs from yours? We once thought and truly believed that the world was flat, that that microwaves were science fiction, that cell phones were preposterous so why can’t we manifest things into our lives if we believe enough. There is documented science of psychics and things beyond what we are capable of understanding so do we just then choose not to believe. If I manifest something into my life by belief and you don’t does that mean it does not exist at all? If one person can do this and it is documented that it was achieved is it then not real?
What we believe. Think about that. I believe I am a winner and you can’t talk me out of it. You believe you are a loser and I can’t talk you out of it. I believe in angels and make believe. I believe in the power of concentration and focus. I believe that all things all possible and I am curious enough to seek them out and challenge myself. I have no fear of failure, I fear of not trying more. I don’t mind when I don’t succeed in what I set out to do, I may find on my journey a more alluring path that sets me in a different direction that I never considered but brings me even more, more than I could have imagined.
What you believe. I make people call me all the time by thinking of them constantly, several times a day. I decide on an amount of money I will make in a week and I make it. Yes, I work but I also believe that there are other forces giving me the edge and because I believe that it shall be done, it is done. Opportunities present themselves to me to allow me to do what I want and to achieve. Would they be there, would I see them if I was not trying to manifest them into my life. If I simply said well I need to make 50 bucks today to pay this or that rather than jumping out of bed and saying I wonder what I will spend the 50 bucks I earn today on? And knowing, knowing that that money will be in my wallet when I want to spend it.
I believe in ghosts, that scares me a little. I believe in evil and that scares me a lot. I wouldn’t tempt fate nor would I make angry a shaman. I believe that there could be something other than my religious beliefs and keep an open mind to all beliefs, just hedging my bets. I believe that I do not have all the answers and keep my ears and eyes open, my mind tuned in to all things around me so I won’t miss that whisper telling me to be careful or that slight nudge to tell me to move forward quickly and attain my reward.
What we believe. Manifestation – an indication that something is present, real, or exists. Yes, I believe that I can manifest anything that I desire into my life if I believe enough. Ah, but I also believe that God and the universe have a plan for me and I believe I may be limiting myself as I try to seek out this plan. Is it the only fate I would have no matter what I do? Is this where I would be even if I made different decisions in the past? Should I accept my life on face value? Should you?
Interesting isn’t it. Something to think about. What we believe and what trail those beliefs have left, the imprint of our journey behind us, the impression we give in front of us. What do you believe about yourself and what you can do? What do you believe you are responsible for? God helps those who help themselves, the universe lines up behind those that generate enough energy to make the path, Buddha gives in equal measure.
I have already manifested wealth and prosperity in my life and this month I am going to manifest 10 pounds off my frame in the next month. I will do this by manifesting a new body. I will take you on my journey to see what happens along the way. I have my dream board, my affirmations and my subliminal messages all ready to go. I am not consciously going to change my diet or exercise routine although on the journey I may be coaxed in those directions, let’s see what my mind will help me achieve through manifesting this new sleek body to me.
What will happen? I am sure it will whatever I believe will happen.
What is happening in your life? What are you attracting or manifesting in your life? Try a little experiment for 30 days, pick something and try to manifest it. Nothing outrageous because you won’t actually believe that, something that you could believe and see if you can’t make it happen.
Let’s live on the wild side this month and believe that we can manifest, that we have the secret and we are prepared to unleash it on our lives. Let’s see what happens. Kumbaya, hocus pocus? Maybe, but let’s live out on the edge, out on the limb this month and see just what manifests in our lives when we let go of the edge and float out into the unknown.

How Does Certainty Lead to Mastery?

This week has been a week if creating certainty in your life.
Certainty leads to mastery!
This week in our entrepreneur development program, we are learning to think and talk in terms of certainty of being confident and self assured.
To do this, you will need to change your verbiage to not use or think in terms of ‘when’ or ‘if’ or ‘try’ or any other terms that don’t portray certainty or specific results.
Now although that may sound easy enough, it can be kind of tricky at first to master. We have found that out as we have gone through this journey. We didn’t know what we didn’t know and we wobbled a bit at first. We were unsure and when challenged we backed right up and lost our power.
Here is an example of something we might say:
“If this new marketing strategy works and brings me in $10,000, I might be able to hire a personal assistant”
How powerful is that statement?
Not so much, right? Still a little uncertainty, missing some convictions?
This week we are thinking and talking with absolute certainty about our future, about us:
“This new marketing strategy is brilliant and will quickly bring me in $10,000. And I will have my own personal assistant in 30 days”
It’s not just the words you use; it’s how you feel about them too.
What will it feel like having your own personal assistant?
Start making a list of everything you are going to have your assistant handle for you.
Live and think in terms of certainty.
The more you talk and think like this, the more you will believe it.
The more you believe it, the more other people associated with you will believe it.
The more they believe it, the more everyone else will believe it. And the more everyone believes it, the more energy is put out there that it will happen.
And it will.
You will see immense success in your life; in every area of life.
This a proven fact!
Have a conversation with anyone who is successful, happy, fulfilled, you name it and you will see that they think and speak differently than people who are not successful.
This is critical to your success. This was our week of saying right out loud how certain and confident we are and we wrote about it, spoke about it and instilled it in us. Eventually you won’t have to actually say those words, once your experience rises to meet expectations, you will exude them, your tone and texture of your voce will change. Your posture and your stance will be more powerful. Your vibration will be different and you will start attracting different people to you and in some cases you will attract your first associate to you, you very first business partner.
If you apply this every day, your chances of success will increase dramatically!
Just like what we discussed this week in Advanced Conversations….first you are given the words and the feeling, the thoughts about something because you have none of your own. You may have enthusiasm and motivation but you have no success experience so you have no matching words or power.
You are first given a script to keep you centered and on track, then you move to put more tone and texture to those same words, then as your success experience grows, you add your own words and feeling and power until you are inside out confident and the words don’t matter as much. Remember that only 7% is the words and 55% is how they are delivered. With or without passion and conviction?
It will be the power and certainty that everyone around you will instantly recognize and immediately be attracted to.
Like way back in the day when I first got involved with selling cemetery property. I was given the 42 page script to memorize. Not a comfortable experience but there were reasons for that. I had no personal experience to draw from so I had no words and they wanted everyone to have the same experience about their property. Soon I was adding my own tone and texture just like you are learning to do through your experience.
That is why you only need invite people to experience presentations instead of trying to sell it yourself. That way everyone coming into your program and who joins you in business gets the right first impression, the understanding of the offering and until you find your own words, you simply use the scripts. Until you come into your own, use the tools that are given to you and learn to use them well, there will plenty of time to become more creative, when you find your own voice.
By doing the things we are most afraid of in little steps we conquer the big stuff that yesterday we were absolutely sure we could not do. You are doing it. Congratulations.

What Defines a Legitimate Home Based Business?

So you want to fire your boss but are scared silly of all the hype and half truths lying in wait to take your money?
It is a jungle out there and finding a legitimate home business opportunity can be a difficult task especially if you want to work on the Internet and not carry inventory or have sales parties or trade shows.
So what defines a legitimate home business anyway?
This is going to be different things to different people and whether or not you are experienced at all or just a beginner in this industry. If you are just starting out you need to be very careful and tread lightly.
The most important factor is will I make any money doing this?
Here are some suggestions to get you to think about this in a different frame.
First things first – Check all Scam Alerts – that will not give the all the information but it will tell you if there are problems with people not making money. If you come across something that has pages of bad press, better to steer clear!
Secondly, if you need help getting started is there some formal training supplied and are there any mentors or successful people you could get help from if you need it….when you need it!
Remember, it is your money you are giving them and don’t get intimidated by them telling you they are doing you the favour.
Don’t fall for any bully marketing tactics! Any reputable company will understand your concerns and be ready to help you make a good decision. This should be your first warning bell….trying to get into your pocket on an impulse buy for huge dollars.

Would it appeal to a wide variety of people to get the widest margins or is it a small market defined product?

Is this something you believe in and can see yourself marketing?

What do they have in the way of marketing resources?

What does the presentation sound like? Does it sound just too easy and unbelievable or does it ring with truth?

Do they want large amounts of money up front or do they have a business plan you can follow to meet your experience and your budget?

Did you feel comfortable when you were in conversation with one of the representatives?

Were they forthcoming when you asked questions?

Are you restricted to depending on your sponsor?
These questions are just a start. Do your due diligence and make sure that what you are looking at is something that you can actually do. Too many people come into this industry with pie in the sky, stars in their eyes and lose considerable sums of cash in the process.

In this land of opportunity, Americans and Canadians alike may believe that it’s harder to get rich than it used to be. But when asked about the likelihood of getting rich personally, about one-third say it’s very or somewhat likely that they will attain wealth because of their work, investments, inheritance or good luck.
On the other hand, 63% say it’s not too likely or not at all likely they’ll get rich. Just 2% volunteered that they’re already rich.
How to get rich
Surveys say: One-fifth of Americans believe that starting a business is the most likely way to get rich today.
History supports that belief. Most self-made millionaires are small-business owners, says Greg McBride, Bankrate.com’s senior financial analyst.
Choosing a high-paying job or career comes in second (19%) as the most likely path to getting rich.
With this economy, many people are turning to the Internet to find riches and are sorely disappointed. Somehow people don’t think that those anonymous tipsters in our junk mail cannot possibly be unscrupulous thieves just looking for the next sucker.
There have documented been significant losses for people who could ill afford those losses trying to strike it rich in the many get rich schemes and money for no work scenarios played out every day.
Can you make money working from the comfort of your home?
Can you find a legitimate company that delivers exactly what they say?
Yes you can!
What you need to have is a little education on the industry, what to expect, how to discern reality from pick pockets and a good, caring mentor that can help you.
Remember what Grandma told you….Nothing worthwhile comes for free or without work. In Home Business, that is very true. Even surveys or data entry positions that get advertised as a quick fix aren’t that easy. Do you qualify for the survey returns? Are you the right demographic? If not you will be applying to thousands of sites to receive nothing in return.
There are several new “freebie” sites popping up all over touting if you market their wares they will give you a commission, all you have to do is get a few friends to jump on board with you.
In the industry we call this the NFL….No Friends Left Club. You may not have heard of it yet because you are new and don’t understand that many of these companies have be reinventing themselves for over forty years. Regurgitated time after time to send a message to your subconscious…If that little old lady (whoever she might be) can do it….so can I. If that youngster over there can do it….so can I? Never asking yourself, not even once…are these real people? Are they just like me, new to the industry or are they the snake oil salesmen shills, just waiting to pounce on my money.
We are good human beings and believe that everyone is the same because if not, wouldn’t someone have stopped them?
If they aren’t telling the truth how come they can advertise on the Internet with such authority?
Here it gets simple. Yes, the FTC has put forth an effort to get these people off the Internet and as complaints are lodged they do go after them but just like weeds or viruses, they simply crawl back again to destroy the integrity and livelihood of the companies that ARE legitimate and DO have value to offer.
It is buyer beware. It is unsettling. It is difficult not to get caught in these carefully placed webs of deceit.
How do you find a legitimate Home Based Business Opportunity?
How do you find a good Internet business?
You are going to need a little help.
First it goes without saying…if it looks too good to be true it is.
A reputable company will not request money upfront to see their product or to offer you a consult..no matter what their reasons might be. They are just trying to get money up front because they know there is a 90-95 percent failure rate and want some cash BEFORE you find that out. They know a little cash is better than nothing so they have little fees that add up with volume.
Be careful of FREE TRIALS – they are just another backdoor method to get money and ALWAYS read the terms and conditions to find out when they will charge your credit card, cancellation terms and ensure the name they have given you for questions or complaints actually is valid. You may have found out you have ALSO subscribed to some newsletter that will only cost 5 or 6 bucks. Not something anyone would complain about but add that up over thousands of people and they are raking in the cash.
These companies rely on the fact that you can’t be bothered or will give up for such a small sum. They may even threaten to put you on a blacklist of “bad” consumers.
If there is a complaint from a consumer, you will soon find out that the authorities are coming after you as your name is front and center on that replicated site they gave you and they are nowhere to be found!
DON’T BE A VICTIM!
If you are new to the Internet opportunity business or want to make some extra money working from home. GREAT, it is a good industry and you can make tons of money, I do.
It took a few dodges and weaves to navigate these treacherous waters. I didn’t come out of it unscathed but I do know the good from the bad and ugly.
